We’re not strangers to fan service in fighting games, it’s actually completely welcomed as it’s just another part of what makes fighting games diverse. Variety is the spice of life, and our favorite rosters usually have everything, from wrinkly old men to seductive femme fatales.
However, sometimes things go far beyond some eye-catching designs. In this video, we’re going to go over some of the more risqué fighting games and see how they try and attract their target audience.

📍Become DashFight's supporter on Patreon! Select a membership level 👉🏼 go.dashfight.com/ny75Z It's not secret that Tekken took many inspirations from action movies, and the legendary martial artists, like Brice Lee or Chuck Norris. It's only natural that someone as entertaining and charismatic as Jackie Chan would serve as one of the inspirations. In this video, we take a closer look at what ma...

I never liked the gimmicky tekken 6 single player mode, i much prefer the "movie mode" of mortal kombat and injustice i think injustice 1 with its mini games (or qtes basically) before starting some fights were good, and i think netherrealm making it to where you can choose between two fighters in the story is also progression that i like i would take that over a beat em up mode
Jp bartitsu meet dudley british boxer.
There are some button notations that are not translated in the "button notations" part, does anyone know what does it stand for: W! - 3! - EWFH - WHF - HS - RD - FND - 3m1 - SSR
I recently started playing 3rd strike, and is like sometimes u challenge someone out of league or someone who spam's special's and change characters to then continue to spam special, but the fact that u can learn a lot with both situation and adapt, for me, pay anxiety that i feel when losing a round or a set just to overcome later. Personal experience of someone who fight a Hugo then a Ken, then a Ryu and finally Hugo again my mind was mixed up but still winning the ft5. 💅
tekken is so hard and too much to learn that you need to apply math in the game 😄 I can't learn all moves in 1 practice at the same time my brain can't handle that, just practice one move and counter like over a hundred times to become your muscle memory then when you get used to it practice other moves next, tekken is a hard fighting game so we can't be good in 1 day practice, law is my 2nd main and still lot of things I need to master
Most underrated channel
I actually blame us as consumers for how this is. Since the competitive scene is just fine with Ranked PVP and Training Mode "being the only modes an FG needs" and casual players of these games never demanding anything more than an Arcade ladder, a visual novel that you don't even play, and maybe a mission mode. It's no wonder these games haven't evolved. I was just telling my son the other day that SF is essentially the same package I played in the arcades in the 90s and they wonder why they can't get people his age interested in the genre.
Im still playing Sc6. Almost every day. Trying to achieve that S1 rank. The ranked play is more populated on the Xbox. Not so much on the Ps4/5 but there are plenty playing casual mode.
Look at how they massacred my boy😭🙏
It's better
Good
If I was a character I'd be at the bottom of a tier list 😂
2D Fighting games are art
Thumbs up if you believe in CORE VALUES!!!
Shut
The thing is tho is that I love Strip Fighter’s art direction and animation! Wish there was a more PG13 version of this game and removed the ugly character. I’m not into that freaky stuff
How players get easily distracted by these
Nope Nope Nurses game is actually a loose adaptation of a CG novel about a guy suffering from a rare lethal disease causing semen overeducation. But a well researched video overall.
Would
Thanks for all these great recommendations!
Mk9 female were also sexualised
I cant play any mode in mk 11 idk why
No such thing as too horny. You guys are just not horny enough
I think we to have Croagunk on Speed Dial 💀💀💀
Doa just doa
Not getting Tekken 8 until he’s in.
I cant understand over your “🤓” voice blud
Over sexualisation is only an issue if it effects a characters visual design or characterisation (personality/story) in a negative way which you have to kinda purposely just not focus on the character itself but wasting time further sexualise them to do which is rare and more than likely not gonna happen if a development team has any amount of respect for the character and their player base. Besides that I feel perhaps maybe the NEED to have characters be sexually appealing is hard cause what people find attractive is subjective and I think is only fair to do if you’re willing to do it to all. It’s also the question of whether it restricts character design given certain traits like age, body type or other qualities may come into factor when making diverse characters but would go against they “average” consumers idea of what is considered attractive. The only solution to me is equal sexualisation to all (female and male), be unafraid of creating character designs that MAY oppose the requirement of being attractive or visually appealing in a sexual context. Sexualise characters absolutely but have exceptions to characters that WILL require them to be treated differently in that area depending on their age, characterisation or theming. More attractive guys in fighting games should also should be sexualised, younger looking characters should NATURALLY be far less used for fan device or sexualised than those that aren’t and characters who are of an older age should strive to be both visually older looking AND attractive at the same time to normalise just older people being seen as attractive cause they certainly can be. No offence to the likes of Genfu from doa but I feel characters like Bryce from Tekken and even Brad Wong himself are more suited to be an older male rep for the fighter cause they are naturally more conventionally attractive which allows for more reach in a player base and ability to put them in different marketing. They’ll just have a better time of fitting into the “majority of the cast is hot” design of fighters and any outliers are exceptions and each character is obviously scaled in how far their fanservice and sexualisation can go in terms of how appropriate it is for them to have it. If at all in the case of non human fighters like Kuma and Panda. It’s technical and requires nuisance but I’m sure fighting game developers can go the extra mile to have some simple cognitively ability to determine how far is too far and what makes it too little of sexualisation of their characters individually. Characters have to be treated and scaled differently in that department if we want any amount of diversity in the form of body types like Bass and Marie or in age like from Eliot to Brad within Doa specifically. I feel Tekken and street fighter have really gone that extra mile with their latest entries and I hope Doa can do the same one day.
Do with this information what you will.
Is this some sort of preliminary marketing for Lei's appearance in Tekken 8?
Hi all. Out of curiosity, how do you use plus frames as Paul? His only CH string you can use from things like F1+2 is 2,1 which is nice but what else should i be doing with my frames?
Zillion thanks Faysal ! ! ! !
So what does it mean when a character is a battery?
For now I have a very hard time using my normal buttons properly in SF6. Yes, I have my cr.MP on Ryu, I know it's good, but just becuase it's good, doesn't mean it's the best option. And here lies my problem: not knowing which button I should be using and which situations, I mean theorethically I kinda know, but in a game so fast I just go brain-dead mode and use what I'm used to.
i might be crazy or misses some of tekken games but that is the first time i ever see bryan actually say something instead of laughing
wildman is giving me hajime no ippo flashbacks
0:37 i really appreciate of this game installment, cause playable character models and CGI Animation models are looks same to same. Which is not seen in any other tekken's game even today, not even in T8.
Iconic Music of T3 ❤
Can you please tell me how to use power charge punch on PS5 controller?
It’s really cool to have an EGirl scene and I love the energy! However the on screen buttons are wrong lol either way cool video!
Broo plz help my friend is spamming tale slam what I can do against it?
DoA was a serious under-rated game. i remember having epic fights thanks to the whole countering system
Tekken 7 was my most recent though I've mostly played tekken 4 on ps2. My favorite being tekken 6. But i was never able to do alot of cool combos and stuff. And mostly I feel like it's bc I'm on controller. Most people have these weird stick things with like 4 or 6 buttons? Idk what they're called but it makes it so much easier for them to use precise movements. Like for King, how am i gonna do a halve circle arrow imput super fast and precise to pull a grab off? I said king bc ik he has moves like that. Or even for me, Jin Ewgf is hard enough and i barely pull it off. Never in combos. Just raw one time. Controller feels like a disadvantage. Idek how it is on keyboard but i like tekken alot. I just feel like i cant do alot of cool stuff even after playing tekken growing up
What’s with all the different buttons ?
Did you just do my combo?
I loved SC IV b/c it was the first game I played where they bounced. I enjoy VI. Maybe VII could include Stellar Blade.
that subtle reference to Nightmare at the end. the blue armor, the red scarf resembling to Nightmare's red hair, and the glowing eye when his face looked at the camera
Amazing 👍👍👍
Lei Wulong was my go to character in Tekken because he reminds me of those Jackie Chan movies I loved when I was younger before I transitioned to Jin. I will always enjoy using Lei Wulong till this day even I'm a Jin main.
Fighting games are chess but 10× faster. What drives people to fighting games is the hype and storylines it creates. Remember Rangchu won the Tekken World Tour in 2017 with Panda and Panda was regarded as one of the worst characters in Tekken 7 or Sonic Fox and his epic rivalry with Go1 in Dragon Ball FighterZ or Emery Reigns does his trademark backflip during a DOA 5 tournament. No other game genre bring that much excitement and build up than fighting games. Fighting games is and will always be the game I enjoy the most. Hell even hosting the tournament in your house generates hype. Not as the World Tour, Combo Breaker and Evo hype but hype to create storylines and rivalries with your friends.
I'll be honest - I love long combos and their flourishes! In single-player games, like DMC. Part of the reason my friends and I stopped playing fighting games, however, is because of the long-combo meta. As we got better and better, it just got less and less fun - fundamentally because it guaranteed that literally some of us just wouldn't even be playing at all. Every game devolved into "I'm getting juggled, so I guess I'll go get a snack or pull up my phone" and "I'm juggling, watch me pull of this crazy combo for 70% of your health - FUCK I fucking missed that last bit, sigh, what a waste." And by the end of the match, we're all kind of just tired and basically doing our own thing. It literally made us feel like we were interacting LESS with each other and the game. There was no rollercoaster ride of excitement. Allegorically, it went from "I'm having an engaging conversation with friends" to "I'm being talked at by, or talking to, someone who stopped paying attention."
